The red dot is where my Grandparents live

This year I went to India, in India I saw all of my cousins and relatives and had so much fun. The flight to India about 20 hours. I had three flights. First flight was from ottawa to montreal which was 45 minutes. Next flight was from montreal to doha. That flight was approximately 13 hrs. THe last flight from doha to trivandrum was 4 hrs. During the long flight I watched tons of movies and slept. When we got to trivandrum my grandparents were there waiting for s to come, then we all went to my grandparents house.

When we got there for the first couple of days I was so tired because of the time difference.   India is 9 ½ hrs ahead of canada’s time. The first week was really boring considering that none of my cousins were there to play with me. To keep myself busy I did worksheets that my dad brought to india for me and I also watched tv and played with my 5-year old little sister Lisa.

The next week my cousins finally arrived in india. I have 6 cousins in total. From my mom’s side I have 5 cousins and from my dad’s side I have 1 cousin. During that week we played cricket, hide and go seek and many more different games. A funny memory is when we’re playing hide and go seek in the dark my cousin bumped into a table and fell down laughing so hard!!!!!

The next week we went to a resort for some swimming and relaxing time. The pool and scenery were absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed the whole day.My favourite part was when we had a swimming contest, a diving contest and a “who can hold thier  breath the longest under water” contest. The food was delicious too. The ride to the resort was 1 hour in car. During that week it was also my grandpa’s birthday, we went to this fancy restaurant and had the best cake ever. It was a great day. As a present my family gave a photo album of photos.

Leaving India was such a struggle considering that I was leaving all my cousins and I wasn’t going to see them in a year. I said my good-byes to all my relatives and left for the airport. The flight home was very sad because i did not want to leave my cousins.
